Itinerary

From the Parish church of Vinadio (910 m), named after Saint Fiorenzo (XIV-XVII century), an asphalted road rises up to Neraissa. Then, from a sharp U-bend, the itinerary goes along a path rising on the right along the right side of the mountain. It then touches the ruins of the mountain huts of Lente, then, ascending on a steep ridge path, the route passes the deserted hamlet of Castellar (1370 m) and leads to the asphalted road just before the small village of Neraissa Inferiore (1433 m), where there are the few houses left which have the typical rye straw roofs. You then go up along the dirt road ascending on the right side of the valley up to the ol of Neraissa (2015 m), to then carry on along the mountainside until col Cialdoletta (1761 m). You descend to the small village of S. Anna di Sambuco (1432 m), where you find the path of the nine hamlets of Sambuco. The route crosses the deep valley of the Madonna along the mountain side and it carries on above Sambuco, passing near the deserted hamlets of Goulasi (1349 m) and Serre Bouisoun (1365 m). You continue on a forest track, and then on a cart road up to Borgata Serre (1419 m). You reach Moriglione di Fondo (1432 m) though a panoramic track along the mountainside, and then you reach Moriglione S. Lorenzo (1414 m) by walking along a dirt road. An asphalted road descends from the hamlet to Pietraporzio (1246 m), being for a short while on the SS 21.
